If you knew your friend's bf was cheating, would you tell her?

I live with a couple. The girl, my friend, is really sweet, and has a good head on her shoulders. She has a career and makes decent money. Her bf, barely works part time, and spends most of his time at home, buying transformers, and then going on youtube making transformer videos (at 30 years old!). In otherwords, she is paying for his lifestyle.

He always leaves his computer wide open, and one day, I went to close the blinds on the couch. His computer was open, and I noticed it was open to a rating/dating site. I wondered why he would be on a site like that, but I just chose to ignore it.

A few months later, he pissed me off, so I went to that site and looked for his profile. Sure enough, I found it, along with very innapropriate and sexual comments he had made towards other women. I felt bad for spying, but I couldn't believe what I was seeing!

Fast forward to yesterday, my friend intercepted messages from those women (one even said, "i love you," and he reciprocated) from the website when she was using his phone. They got into an argument, she told me didn't believe he was telling her the truth about these women, nevertheless show her the messages. I told her I knew what was going on, and that I had proof (screenshots) of it as well.

Believe it or not, she chose to stay with him. What the ___? Is my response! Did I do the right thing to try to help her, even though she chose to ignore it? I feel awful. She even thanked me, and told him he couldn't get upset at me because she would have done the same thing, and besides, she found out anyway on her own.

As of today, he has deleted his profile on that page, BUT, he still has all those girls as friends on myspace, which she OBVIOUSLY doesn't know about. She lives in some alternate universe where her bf is a saint. *puke*


Purple: if you read my story, she did find out he was cheating- emotionally.
Stephy Jo: Cheating isn't always physical!!!! He was EMOTIONALLY cheating on her and she caught him herself! I just had proof to back it up!

Recording on iPhone; what can you do with this?

Is it possible to record a phone conversation on the Apple iPhone? Or make videos with the camera, like on a mobile phone?
What other devices could do this? PDAs for instance?

crazy dream please help very long and twisted?

i dreamt that me and my husband moved into a crowded neighborhood into a big house. i must have had to go to school so i was droppoed off. when i went we were early or something so we all went to mcdonalds. well i spoke to the manager and we flirted and his brown shirt stuck out to me. after we set down and started eating somehow someone found a old video of me when i was younger dancing? then everyone starts chanting and i get up and look and they all have videos. well i walk out and as i am leaving i count 5 or 6 dollars and walk across a guy holding a cordless phone and in the grass i see my phone so we pick it up and start walking. as we walk some guys ask was we together and he laughed and said yes i just laughed and got into my moms white car. as i am driving i ride past my house and dont see his car. when i get to a gas station i realize i am naked a lady talks to me and then a man proceeds to ask me how can i be so selfish and as he says that i see my hubby with a dark skinned woman with blonde hair, so to answer the guys question i say because he is doing that and i get out the car and start crying. well the girl dissappears and i am crying and he is very cold towards me and somehow i get a doll with blonde hair and start cutting it off and he says it will be pretty hard to do that in the summer you will see? and we continue to walk well he goes and picks the girl up in a lime green car and makes me sit in the back seat and all i do is cry until i ask to be let out and i woke up

Unknown memory on my iPhone 3g/iPod?

Recently all of my songs got deleted off my iphone, so i synced them again. When the sync started, it showed the following data: Music=0 MB. Video=0 MB, Photos=2.6 MB, and apps 17.1 MB.. But for "Other" it shows 1.82 GB that was never there before. I have no idea what this "Other" memory can be. My phone finished syncing and there was no double music or anything, and everything on the phone is exactly the same as before my songs were erased. Does anyone have any idea what this "other" memory could be?

I ask because I am interested to know what you all think of technology...it's made to be used and to manipulate other things...it doesn't just sit there...something on the ground can stay exactly as it is and never "have" to be used like technology does. Technology is never neutral the way a rock on the ground can be.
Considering the fact that these items of our current culture have a clear connection to a slow destruction of our plant...I find it frustrating that religion doesn't discuss this and instead makes a judgement about right or wrong without any consideration for the in between...however, when it comes to things you like...such as technology, it's all good so long as you conceptualize it as "how" you choose to use it? So it's all good, unless it used for evil...but how can you not see that the creation of technology and the way we seem to need to make use of everything...has wreaked havoc on our planet...how is this not contributing to a potential "doomsday" as you say?

3gp >.mpg/.avi/.wmv codec problems?

Hi.

Yesterday I took some video footage on my phone in .3gp format. It will play back on my Nokia Multimedia player, but I want to upload it to my blog. I have converted it (apparently) successfully to avi, mpg AND wmv but it STILL won't play back in any other application (I have Nero, Windows Movie Maker & Quicktime).

I know it's most likely a codec issue, and I d/led a pack of 'em but still no joy. I checked the right boxes in Movie Maker and still could not import the converted files, in fact, with the wmv file, it just crapped itself.

Can anyone help, please? Driving me a bit nuts.

I used a thing called Prism to convert to avi & mpg and Blaze to convert to wmv. None of 'em will play on any application I have.

My parents keep asking me what I want for Christmas, and honestly, I have no idea. I know it's frustrating trying to shop for someone when you don't know what they'd want, so I'd like some help with my Christmas list. I have some books on the list, and also a new G1 phone. Ok I am a regular computer nerd- to the extreme- but I can not figure this dumb crap out! I have a MotoRazr on Verizon, and on the phone is a funny video I took I wish to send to my HP Pavilion dv6910us laptop, which runs Vista Home Premium 32 bit. I searched for bluetooth devices from the phone, it found my laptop but requires a 'passkey' of sorts. Where do I find my passkey??? This video is worth it.

Tell me the pros and cons for the Samsung Behold?

I just want to know where everyone stands on this phone, I just ordered mine like 3 minutes ago and am expecting to get it in 3-7 days.

I know it doesn't have wifi, but that doesn't really matter because with the data plan on 3g the internet is so sick and fast. Of course if we're going to compare it with the iphone then no, it's not that fast. But a blackberry then yes. This phone can actually watch youtube videos unlike my pearl.. I can't wait to fully review the phone after playing with it. And if I don't like it, then I've got 14 days to return that sucker.
